Day 1 - Arrive!


Stay at The Adventure Inn 

Lunch at Dirigo Fermentory hosted by the amazing brewer/owner Glenda Quesada. Enjoy authentic local food made from scratch and beer and kombucha (and kombucha cocktails!) made onsite.

Relax at the hotel before we go to Costa Rica Beer Factory. We will have flights with Master Brewer Jaime Zuluaga and some tasting lessons as well. Then he will pair your favorite beer with a delicious dish from their award winning kitchen.

After breakfast go to Costa Rica Meadery. Tour the farm and orchards with the incomparible Alejandra Araya. Enjoy fresh fruit right off the trees, climb up into a treehouse, and enjoy the stunning views.

Then enjoy a special lunch from Chef Samwell. Using local ingredients, most from the farm, he will create a 5 course meal, each paired with an exquisite mead. A truly special experience!

Leave early afternoon for La Fortuna.

Stay at Arenal Volcano Inn nights 2 and 3.


Day 2


Day 3


Put on some comfy shoes for the hike to La Fortuna Waterfall. You will hear the roar of the falls as you descend down the trails to where the water comes crashing down. Swim in the cool moutain water, take lots of pics, and take time to enjoy this collosal waterfall!

Lunch is a traditional Costa Rican meal called a "casado" with beans, rice, salad, avocado, plantains and a meat (pork, fish, chicken, beef - also a veggie option).

Then we go to Proyecto ASIS, an animal rescue that rehabilitates monkeys, sloths, birds and other wildlife. We will learn about their mission, then we will roll up our sleeves prepare the meals and feed the animals!

After a day of hikes and animal rescue, you need to relax. We will go to Baldi Thermal Spa to unwind and soak in their 25 volcano heated pools. Dinner is included and there are several swim up bars where you can get a beer or cocktail. This is a real trip highlight!


Day 4


Let's head to the beach! We will hit the road early for the drive to the Pacific. Along the way we will stop for a spectacular brunch by Chef Nicolas Devenelle at Numu Bistro and Tap Room. Flights of Numu's award winning beer make this the perfect craft beer meal!

We will arrive Playa Flamingo mid-day and check in to the fantastic beachfront Margaritaville Hotel! Relax at the pool, get a cocktail at the swim up bar, or grab a chair and hit the beach!

You have some free time here. Grab dinner on your own at the hotel or one of the easily walkable local restaurants. Your guides can offer suggestions and arrange transportation if you want to travel a bit further to eat.


Day 5



Enjoy a lazy day at the pool or the beach. Or if you're feeling adventurous, your guides can arrange an additional excursion. Snorkel? Horseback riding? ATVs? We can arrange it!


Day 6


You have relaxed and recharged, now let's go have some fun! Let's start with a world class zip-lining adventure at Diamante Eco-Adventure Park! Five zip-lines including the 1 mile long tandem Superman make this quite the thrill! They have the most modern, technically advanced zip-line available so you will feel safe and secure and will enjoy soaring with the a spectacular view of the Pacific!

Enjoy a sunset catamaran cruise around Potrero Bay. Music, dancing, drinks and heavy hors d'ouevres complement the setting sun. This cruise is always a blast!

Potrero Brewing is on the agenda for dinner. TJ is making what we think is some of the best beer ANYWHERE. They also make root beer and their own ice cream so an ice cream float is a MUST! There are several food option at the brewery from an italian pizzaria, to Salvadoran street food, to traditional sliders. Enjoy the night and talk about the day's adventures.

Day 7


Its your last full day so stroll the beach, hit the local shops for last minute souvenirs, or get in another beach day. The day is yours until dinner.

Our farewell dinner is simply exquisite. Chef Frankie of Gracia Mar Vista has a simply stunning evening planned for you!


Start with a cocktail in their infinity pool overlooking the Pacific sunset. After the sun has sunk into the ocean you will have a change to dry off and change clothes, then take your place at his excusive chef's table. He will serve 5 courses, each paired with a wine that is sure to impress. He will regail you with stories of each dish, where he learned the recipe and how he has adapted to local ingredients. This is a dinner you will remember for the rest of your life!

Day 8


With new memories and new friends, it is time to depart for home. The drive to Liberia Airport (LIR) is about an hour and will have numerous shuttles making the trip.

PURA VIDA! We hope you had a fantastic experience and will come back to our beautiful country again!
